SPRINGVILLE, California — Tulare County included Springville in a roadway-preservation program announced March 27, 2026, covering approximately eight miles of county-maintained streets across five communities. The Resource Management Agency’s project announcement identifies Springville, Three Rivers, Kingsburg, Earlimart and Woodville.
How slurry seal changes road access
Slurry seal is a surface treatment used to seal small cracks and help pavement last longer. The county said the program would involve temporary street closures, construction signage and parking restrictions while crews applied the treatment. The announced contractor was Pavement Coatings Co., with county construction management oversight.
The county identified an estimated cost of $475,916.70, funded through Measure R, Tulare County’s transportation sales tax. That is the estimated total across the five communities, not an amount allocated to Springville alone.
What is still unknown
The March release announced work but did not supply a final completion report for every Springville street. Residents should not interpret this article as notice that a specific road is closed or that all listed work is finished. The RMA maintains road closure information and a project map set that can help identify affected streets.
To check on a Springville address or request an update, contact the RMA project team at 559-624-7028 and consult official road notices. Parking and access plans should follow current posted instructions rather than the original spring construction schedule.
