SPRINGVILLE, California — A Springville mailing address does not necessarily mean that a household gets water from the Springville Public Utility District. Tulare County’s current Water and Sewer Provider Directory lists several providers serving separate parts of Springville and nearby mountain communities, each with its own service area and contact number.
Who operates local systems?
The county identifies Springville Public Utility District as a provider within its district boundaries, reached at 559-539-2869. It separately lists Grier Mutual Water Company, at 559-333-0455, and Triple R Mutual Water Company, at 559-539-2706, for portions of the Springville area. Other mountain communities along Highway 190 have additional providers, including Camp Nelson Water Company and Pierpoint Springs Water Company.
The provider depends on the property’s actual location and service boundaries. Sharing a ZIP code, highway or common community name is not proof that two homes receive the same water or sewer service.
What to do about a leak or bill
Residents should check the utility name printed on their bill, verify a property through official district maps if necessary and contact that utility directly about rates, service interruptions or water-quality notices. A generic county-wide advisory may not describe conditions in every small water system. The county directs people who cannot identify their provider to the RMA at 559-624-7000.
This is a provider-identification guide, not a report of a new contamination problem or boil-water notice in Springville.
